Mark your calendars for our upcoming BAGS TOURNAMENT! In partnership with El Segundo High School, ESGS is hosting this fun event to raise funds for upgrading the fields utilized by our Gundo Girls as well as the ESHS Eagles. Major field work can be very costly. All proceeds from this event will go toward field upgrades.

When: Sunday, Dec. 3rd, 12 noon

Where: Chevron Park

What is a bags tournament? The game of bags (otherwise known as Cornhole) is a fun and competitive lawn game in which players take turns throwing bean bags (or bags of corn) at a raised platform with a hole in the far end. A bag in the hole scores 3 points, while one on the platform scores 1 point. Full game rules will be posted at the tournament.

Important Info:

  • $50 entry fee per team (2 players per team)
  • FREE Spectator Admission, fun for the whole family!
  • Register by noon at the tournament, no pre-registration required
  • Tournament Play to begin at 12:30
  • Tournament Draw to be electronically posted at the event

Please call the Hotline if it is raining. Information on the Field Hotline is updated by 2pm each day, and tells us if the Rec Park and/or Richmond fields are closed for the day. The Middle School field is controlled by ESGS, and signs will be posted at the field if it is closed.
